Members
BTK Viby traces its origins back to 1957, when it was founded by a small group of dedicated members. In recent years, the club has experienced significant membership growth. For a long period, membership numbers remained stable at around 50 active members, but with improved facilities, increased sporting ambitions, and a stronger focus on both youth development and grassroots activities, the club began to grow in earnest.
Over the past decade, membership has more than doubled, and today BTK Viby has approximately 200 active players, consisting of around 100 veteran players, with the remaining members spread across the junior and senior sections.
The club is dedicated to pursuing its ambition of continued growth while fostering a thriving environment that embraces both grassroots participation and elite performance.
Our facilities
The club has excellent facilities, including two dedicated playing halls: a large hall with 8 tables and a smaller hall with 4 tables. In addition, we have training robots and other relevant training equipment.
Members can also socialize or simply relax before and after training in the shared lounge area, which features a TV, a comfortable lounge set, as well as tables and chairs. The club also has a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, and dishwasher. Furthermore, we have a fridge with beer and softdrinks, with payment handled via MobilePay.
The facilities also include separate changing rooms for men and women, as well as a wheelchair-accessible toilet.
Parking
If you arrive by car there are good — and free parking facilities right by the front door, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk from public transportation.
There is currently no option for charging electric cars.
